God Is In Control And He Knows Those Who Trust In Him

Psalm 115:3-8, 11, 15-18 NKJV

But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases. [4] Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands. [5] They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; [6] They have ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell; [7] They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat. [8] Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them. [11] You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. [15] May you be blessed by the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. [16] The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men. [17] The dead do not praise the LORD, Nor any who go down into silence. [18] But we will bless the LORD From this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD!

Genesis 50:20-21 NKJV
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. [21] Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.

2 Chronicles 20:5-6, 9, 12 NKJV

Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court, [6] and said: “O LORD God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You? [9] ‘If disaster comes upon us-sword, judgment, pestilence, or famine-we will stand before this temple and in Your presence (for Your name is in this temple), and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save.’ [12] O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”

Isaiah 41:10-13 NKJV

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ [11] “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish. [12] You shall seek them and not find them- Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. [13] For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

John 14:27 NKJV

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Psalm 94:16-19, 21-22 NKJV

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? [17] Unless the LORD had been my help, My soul would soon have settled in silence. [18] If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O LORD, will hold me up. [19] In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. [21] They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood. [22] But the LORD has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge.

Joshua 1:8-9 NKJV

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. [9] Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Matthew 6:25-34 NKJV

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? [26] Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? [27] Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? [28] “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; [29] and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. [30] Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? [31] “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ [32] For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. [33] But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. [34] Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, [7] casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Isaiah 35:3-4 NKJV

Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. [4] Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

Psalm 99:2-3, 5, 9 NKJV

The LORD is great in Zion, And He is high above all the peoples. [3] Let them praise Your great and awesome name- He is holy. [5] Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His footstool- He is holy. [9] Exalt the LORD our God, And worship at His holy hill; For the LORD our God is holy.

Luke 12:22-34 NKJV

Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. [23] Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. [24] Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? [25] And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? [26] If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? [27] Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. [28] If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? [29] “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. [30] For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. [31] But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. [32] “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. [33] Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. [34] For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Nahum 1:7 NKJV
