Repent and Believe The Gospel

Many people believe that a loving God would not send people to hell. God does not send people to hell. Your sin sends you to hell, unless you are born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus preached it, the prophets preached it, so did John the Baptist, the Apostles, and the early Evangelists. They taught repentance and explained what it involved.

To repent is to turn, having a change of heart that results in a change of life through Jesus Christ. We all must repent or perish.

Luke 13:3 NKJV
I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

Repentance follows faith and godly sorrow.

2 Corinthians 7:9-11 NKJV
Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. [10] For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. [11] For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sin, but sorry enough to change, make a decision, and turn away from sin. Sin separates us from God. God does not bless sin. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God determines the acceptability of repentance. It is a matter of the heart which God, not man, can know perfectly. God knows how sincere a person is who claims to have repented.
God knows if you are serious and if you mean it or not, you can’t fool God who knows the thoughts and intent of your heart. Your fruit after God given repentance will also show the genuineness of your repentance from sin.

When one believes in the Lord Jesus Christ like he should from the heart and by The Holy Spirit, he will find no difficulty turning away from sin. He who comes to Jesus and calls upon Him, He will in no wise cast out.
If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus Christ will cast your sin as far as the east is from the west. Jesus will throw your sins into the depths of the sea to remember them no more.
Thank You Jesus for your amazing Grace in granting us true repentance, so we may have a true relationship with you.  Amen.
